We are thrilled to have completed the first step in our goal to build a first class children's museum in downtown Green Bay. It is exciting to be a part of a project that will be instrumental in helping to revitalize the river and bring the heart and soul back to the downtown area.
First and most importantly we want to thank our donors for all of their patience during this process. We'll be getting the new plans together in the next couple of months and meeting with donors individually. Without their support this museum wouldn't be a reality.
We are looking forward to revitalizing our Capital Campaign and to raise money again for the new museum. With the abatement scheduled to begin in the next couple of weeks, demolition to follow and construction to begin this fall we will be in our new home by Fall of 2008.
Next we want to thank the city and River Vision Partners for their support. We are appreciative of the partnership that has been formed and are committed to working together to see this project to completion.
Finally we want to thank the families in this community who have been so patient. Your comments on the importance of the Children's Museum remind us of the significant role the new museum will play in the lives of all children in the community.
