MANUFACTURING IN NORTHEAST WISCONSIN

Learning Objectives:

  • Show paper manufacturing process from pulp to paper.
  • Display how simple machines make work easier through inclined planes and crank system,
  • Demonstrate teamwork, communication and problem solving to get a job done more efficiently.
  • Show specific jobs that are in a factory
  • Portray manufacturing in our region: paper, packaging, trucking, conveyor and furniture.
  • Practice safety in the work place.
  • Understand recycling and the environment in manufacturing.
